Watercolour paintings & drawings

Note: all pictures should load properly and be in working condition; if any pictures are missing, just reload the page! :) - Thank you and enjoy the show...

Watercolour/gouache paintings and a couple of coloured pencil pieces, 1999-2004. I've given away all three flower pieces - my mum has the pansies (one of her given names is Orvokki which translates as pansy/violet), my granny has the cattleya orchids, and the large iris one I gave to a particularly close psychiatric nurse of mine. The rest were done either for my high school arts class, or for my own pleasure.

Pencil drawings, 1998-2002. These pencil pieces I did with either a 0,5mm or 0,7mm mechanical pencil, or a more sturdy graphite pen, and sometimes with the help of a paper stomp which helps you make your gradients more smooth. As you can see, a large part of these are unfinished in some aspect or another - I've always had trouble finishing what I started (hence the long breaks I tend to take from updating this blog :/). All of my pieces, both painted and drawn, are small in size - some as small as a CD booklet, and never larger than an A4 sheet. I'm all about details and perfecting them - an A4 sized piece can easily take a week for me to finish. I haven't been very productive in these past years as I've concentrated more on my other hobbies, such as image editing - and doing my nails. :D

Beautiful. I'm a sketch artist too who also has a hard time finishing what I start! The ones of Delenn from Babylon 5 is my favorite. Best TV show ever made.
